New To World of Warcraft

So, you purchased (Or want to purchase) World of Warcraft. It's not a bad idea, so long as you have strong will power. (hehe) This game is addicting. You may find yourself wanting to play instead of do chores, bathe, or even go to work!

Get your game loaded up, log in, and start yourself a Draenei Hunter!
The draenei (meaning Exiled Ones in their own tongue) are a faction of uncorrupted eredar who fled their homeworld of Argus to escape the corruption of the demonic Burning Legion
Some people pronounce is Dren-eye and some pronounce it Dran-eye.

The hunter class is fun and mostly simplistic. Plus, you get a pet to help kill things for you! You can use a bow or a gun as your weapon. The Draenei starts with a bow and a moth pet.

If you've played an MMORPG before, then most of this will come easy to you. Basic gameplay is to approach an NPC (non-player character) that has an exclamation point above their head. Click on them to read and accept the quest. Follow instructions, using your map, to complete it. Then return (most times).to the same NPC to turn the quest in for level experience, money and gear.

When your quest is complete, the NPC to turn it into will have a question mark above their head. One-time completion quests are in bright yellow. Quests that you can complete once each day (Daily Quest) will be in blue.

Another simplistic class that's suitable for a beginner is the Paladin. There's also rich lore behind this class all over Azeroth. Not to mention, the Class Mount in Legion you get (after doing the questline) is pretty badass!

As with any RPG, as you level, you'll gain new, stronger abilities. Be sure to read the tooltips and any other passive abilities in your spellbook so you can learn to play your class effectively!

Be sure to check out my other posts on questing in different zones. I talk about stories, villains, and share fun screenshots!

Thanks for stopping by!
